Fresh off their fourth annual Anime Awards, Anime streaming giants Crunchyroll is looking to fill next year's event with their own originally produced nominees. Perhaps taking a cue from Netflix, Crunchyroll is putting megabucks behind eight anime projects for exclusivity and dubbing them as Crunchyroll Originals. Of the eight listed, I am personally super stoked for (longtime manga/graphic novel finally turning anime) The God of High School, The Tower of God and Noblesse. Here is the full list:
Of the eight, In/Spectre has already begun airing, while the "other Crunchyroll Originals will premiere throughout the year to fans around the world". While I have my clear favourites, each series looks like a good watch and definitely worth checking out. I also hope leads to more obscure manga get the anime treatment similar to Noblesse.
