Another year, another season, another numbered FIFA game is on the horizon. But Wait! This one...there is something special about this one. EA Sport's FIFA series has been an etched stable in gaming footy fans' library since 1993, but now this year's FIFA 23 will be the last game released under the familiar moniker. Dear IGN, I'm writing this letter because, despite our bad times and Good times, I must break up with you. How are you doing, 'Di Blog' fans? When we were in the middle of creating another animated project, we came across IGN's new top 25 countdown, which was, this time, based on the 25 best anime series of all time. Now, I don't usually involve myself in these countdowns from these Publishers because opinions are opinions, but something called to me this time, saying there's something I need to check on the list. And there it was, IGN had Dead Note at number 18th.
We were hit with both a new Nintendo Direct and Playstation State of Play, but who had the better presentation? We quickly examined both and filed a report.
Disney, Ubisoft and Game Informer unleashed a bevy of gaming and animation news over the weekend. We try to keep and bring you all details on most of what was announced. Including new God of War Ragnorak gameplay and info on Inside out 2.
In the early 2000s, I was the lone Nintendo gamer among my peers, and boy, oh boy, was it difficult. I had to deal with constant teasing about how my little purple lunch box was for kids as they also spew at nauseam about how manly their Xbox and PS2 were due to being home to Halo and Resistance. I was losing face, so I prayed to the Nintendo gods for a major first-party shooter so I could also boast about how 'manly' my console was. Well, it took those gods over 13 years, and it was about kids becoming squids (MANLY!!). Luckily, the original Splatoon was a lot of fun, and this coming 9th of September, Nintendo will be releasing its third instalment, but will it be a brand new coat of paint? Or just more Squid? Here's the review roundup:
