Mortal Kombat is arguably one of the most controversial gaming franchise in history thanks largely to it being one of the first ultra-violent video games. There is no question that the series will forever be best known for the violence but, also for the fun gameplay as well as interesting characters/plot. Characters such as Scorpion, Liu Kang, Sub Zero are memorable and thanks to a successful reboot of the series in 2011, we learnt more about them due to the better a plot. You may not be much a fan of Basketball. Heck, you may not be a fan of any sport but, there is a high chance that you came across the name Kobe Bryant. And now, the studio is making a return to the silver screen with their latest series BNA: Brand New Animal and based on its first trailer, they may have another winner on their hands.

There are tons and tons of animated content ready to be binged on Netflix today. The online streaming giants have repeatably upheld their mantra of having something for everyone by spending big bucks to acquire and produce their own animated shows/films to go along with their live-action collection. Anime, in particular, is surprisingly well supported with many shows/films that were initially slated for the Japanese audience only, was brought over the Pacific for western eyes thanks to Netflix. Now, the CG animated adaptation of the first Pokemon movie Mewtwo Strikes Back, is the next added to the list.
