As an 80s kid, I was a big fan of both The Terminator one & two. And despite my young age, two things always stood out to me when watching those films...a little kid should not be watching such gratuitous violence, and that one-day artificial intelligence will rise up and enslave us all. Sure, screaming that last one from your soap box in the town square would earn you a first-class ticket to the looney bin a couple years ago, but now with the recent rise in popularity of the AI program Chat GPT, you would be heralded as a prophet.

Yes, it's finally Oscar season, and while we enjoy the numerous end-of-year awards from the various popular publications throughout the industry (including our own), this is, of course, the one that truly means something.
