With Illumination Entertainment working on a new Minions and that yet to be revealed Mario film, it would have been easy for their follow up to the surprise hit Sing to get lost in the shuffle. Sing 2 is still on track for a Christmas release, but to keep hype growing, we got a brand new trailer yesterday (a whopping three minutes and thirty-eight second in length trailer) 6 months in advance.

There is no question that Sony Pictures Animation is on a roll these 2 years after copping two Oscar wins (for 2018’s feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and 2019’s short Hair Love). Not resting on their laurels, the studio was already hard at work on a new interesting project called Wish Dragon which sees them, partner, up with China’s Base Animation.
