2022 saw a major push for movies to return to the big screen after the last two years of streaming services. A year that also saw a plethora of great animated films (Turning red, puss in boots) to match, but only one can be crowned as our 2022 ANIMATED MOVIE OF THE YEAR! Also, we should note that we are excluding anime movies from this list as that will in be in it's own category.

After Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse pleasantly shocked the world back in 2018 (so much so it took home the Oscar), fans have seen the live-action MCU Spider man taking most of the spotlight. Sure, those versions of the Spidey world was fun, but we were all eager to return to the vibrant world of Max Morales and co. Lucky for us, that time is approaching with Sony Animations dropping a first trailer for Across the Spider Verse earlier today.
Out of all the different game genres, survival horror games aim to provide us with more than just hours of amusement. This Friday, The Callisto Protocol is the latest game to thrill and scare us despite releasing at a time normally associated with whimsey and cheer. So did it succeed? Puss in Boots has always been a bit of an outcast in the Shrek films; darker and more sombre yet occasionally still fitting with the comedic tone. Now, ten years later from the debut of the first movie, Puss in Boots makes its second appearance to revitalize the Shrek brand.
