It may not have had the same hype or prestige as the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, but ever since it was announced during a Nintendo Direct last September, some Ninty fans were looking towards Xenoblade Chronicles Definite Edition's arrival. At its original release, the game was herald as one of the best RPGs to had ever graced a Nintendo console and truly an underrated gem. But, that was back in 2010. Now in 2020, did this remastered version done enough to retain the same perception against the backdrop of modern gaming standards? Here's the Review Roundup:
It hurts me deeply that I have yet gotten a chance to watch Fire Force. I really dig the concept, and I have heard nothing but good things about the series from fellow anime lovers. Unfortunately, time and anime wait on no one, as official news and a new trailer from Japan, has now confirmed that season 2 will be airing this July.
From the likes of Panasonic, Microsoft, Sony and most recently Google, the gaming world have seen some big electronic/IT conglomerates enter the fray over the years. This in itself, proves that the industry is a lucrative investment and one that would continue to garner the attention of some big fishes to our ever-growing pond. One such was Amazon, who created their own dedicated studio in hopes of making a major impact. It may have taken some time and countless casual/mobile titles, but the studio has finally joined the big boys' table with the release of their first Triple-A title, Crucible.
Usually, during this time of year, fans and the gaming industries' big wigs would all be gearing up for arguably gaming's biggest spectacle, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Ever since its inception 25 years ago, E3 had been the industries' best means of showcasing new games, consoles and tech. A consecutive trend that will be broken this year thanks to COVID-19, prompting many devs and publishers to draft up new ways of bringing new information about their products to us this Summer. Well, 14 of them have decided to come together to produce their own digital event titled New Game+ Expo.
I had already professed my undying excitement for the upcoming CG animated reboot of Scooby-Doo here on this blog. Heck, it even made the shortlist for our most anticipated animated films for this year. But, after months of uncertainty over its theatrical release brought on from the current pandemic, the time has finally come for this latest reboot to make its debut. Does it do the franchise justice? Here are some of the industries' top critics take on the movie:
