If been reading this blog long enough, you may have realized I was a nineties kid and adored the classic Nickelodeon/Disney/Cartoon Network shows of that era. One of my favourite with a shadow of a doubt was Rugrats, as the diaper adventures of Tommy, Phil, Lil and Chuckie were a must-watch whenever it was tv. Hell, I even enjoyed the spin-off 'All Grown up'. So naturally, news of a modern reboot got me excited as well, scared of the likelihood it will be a disaster. No idea on that front yet, but here's a brand new trailer to give us an idea on where this is going:

This game is already a guaranteed multi-million sales success story for Capcom largely due to the massive hype that has already been generated long before launch. (And, for good reason.) After its stellar predecessor RE7, RE8/Village is set to crank everything up 11 when it comes to gameplay, presentation and story (and tall vampire women). RE Village is considered a potential Game of the Year contender so, does it end up living up to such lofty expectations? Here's the review roundup:
We have finally arrived at the month of May, and the games industry appears to be picking up pace after the initial slow start to the year. Despite the release of great games such as Monster Hunter Rise and Returnal, this year feels like it's missing that extra humph one would expect months into a new generation. But May brings with it a sense of optimism with a bevy of heavy hitters set to launch starting with the return of a beloved storied franchise.
The PS5 is now 5 months old and although it launched with amazing exclusives Demon Souls and Max Morales, the hype train since had been cooled somewhat. We are still stuck in that weird cross-gen phase right now which may be view as the main culprit for the lack of true PS5 experiences. Hopefully this lull is coming to an end with the launch of the exclusive Returnal. So, was it worth the wait? Here's the roundup:
