When I first got whiff of the news that DC Animations was working a new Harley Quinn Animated series for their new DC Universe streaming platform, I was a bit indifferent. Yes, Margot Robbie portrayed the character well in the otherwise average Suicide Squad and her full redesign in the New 52 was interesting, I could just not accept anything less than her original form from her debut on Batman: The Animated Series back in 1992. Then I saw the first trailer, and while 92 Harley may never be topped, this Harley was foul-mouthed, crude and downright hilarious. I instantly wanted a release date to mark my calendar in anticipation, and thanks to the New York Comic-Con, I finally got one.
According to a report by IGN, Executive Producers Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker were on hand at New York Comic Con to officially announce the premiere date for the original adult-animated comedy series Harley Quinn. Expect the batsh#t crazy ex girlfriend of the Joker to create mischief this November 29.
