I may not be the biggest of Fortnite fans but, I must admit that Epic's latest PR stunt for the series was one the most interesting in recent memory. Having the game map and world be sucked up by a black hole and hence rendering the game unplayable for two days (and at this point without any mention of a new game coming) is a move that would land most companies in hot water. Yet, viewership of a Twitch live stream featuring a static screen of said black hole garnered north of 200 thousand views at one point, proving gamers if nothing else, love a bit drama and suspense. It all culminated well in the end with the launch of Fortnite Chapter 2.

If you ever had someone in your life that easily dismissed animation as nothing more than 'cartoons for kids' and thus incapable of conveying any deep thought or meaning for adults? Then just point them to the BORN FREE FOUNDATION & Zombie Studio's animated video 'The Bitter Bond' as exhibit 'A' for how wrong they are.
The Addams Family had always been one of those classic shows for the life of me I could never get into. My Parents loved the old black and white TV show from the 60s and despite the many remakes/reboots TV shows and movies, I just never gravitated towards it. Fast-forwarding to 2019 and The Addams Family is once again revived, this time in the form of a Computer Generated Animated movie. I will have to wait for the film's release here in Jamaica to see if this new version is for me but, while I wait the critics have had their say. Here's the review roundup:
If you are a 90s kid like I am, there are two superhero cartoons you just had to rush home from school, skip doing that annoying homework and kick back with a bowl of most sugary cereal on earth to watch. One was the excellent Batman: The Animated Series with the other being X-Men: The Animated Series. With Xmen, you would have had that now legendary opening theme song on repeat in your head all day long. Well, now you are in your 30s and hit with another reminder that the 90s were better has today Marvel is being sued by a man named Zoltan Krisko over that beloved theme song.
When I first got whiff of the news that DC Animations was working a new Harley Quinn Animated series for their new DC Universe streaming platform, I was a bit indifferent. Yes, Margot Robbie portrayed the character well in the otherwise average Suicide Squad and her full redesign in the New 52 was interesting, I could just not accept anything less than her original form from her debut on Batman: The Animated Series back in 1992. Then I saw the first trailer, and while 92 Harley may never be topped, this Harley was foul-mouthed, crude and downright hilarious. I instantly wanted a release date to mark my calendar in anticipation, and thanks to the New York Comic-Con, I finally got one.
News of the current generation ending soon and next-gen consoles PS5 & Project Scarlet being advance in development is ancient at this point. What was missing however, is when exactly we can expect to be oohing and ahhing at next-gen visuals/gameplay. Well, Sony has revealed via their official Playstation Blog that the PS5 (which was also confirmed to be the official name) will indeed be coming late 2020.
