UPDATE!
Due to the ongoing protests/riots and the current political climate being experienced worldwide, Sony has today decided to postponed their much anticipated PS5 reveal event. Right call in my opinion.

It's finally happening! No more rumours...no more guessing...no more hounding Sony on social media for a date because today, they have finally revealed the date where we will see the PS5 in all of its glory. Some ridiculed Sony for allowing Microsoft such an early lead in the Next-Gen race by waiting so patiently to reveal significant news on the PS5 but seeing how badly blundered the Xbox Series X gameplay event was, it now appears to be a masterstroke of a move. Regardless, the wait was killing us, and I am glad to now know it will be over next week.
There is no question that 2020 has been a really tough year for most of us, and the fact that it was also the year of next-gen provided a much needed small distraction from it all. Already, my mind is racing thinking about the launch line up, console features and a possible release date/price reveal. Taking place during a time normally reserve for pre-E3 festivities, this event couldn't have come at a better time.
The PS5 event will this coming Thursday at 3:00pm Jamaican time.
