Only one day has passed since we were glued to our PC screens with jaws mopping the floor as we watched Epic Games guides us through our first look at PS5 hardware in action. Now, fast-forward to today, and Sony has smartly decided to remind us that our dear old friend PS4 hasn't departed for the afterlife just yet. Thanks to the latest Playstation State of Play, we got a full 18 minutes demonstration of Ghost of Tsushima (Perhaps the last PS4 first-party titled) in action, and it was amazing.

The Paper Mario series may not be one Nintendo's most beloved IPs, but the Gamecube entry The Thousand Year Door (my favourite is Super Paper Mario) to this day has one of the largest cult followings. Now, this morning, out of literally nowhere, Nintendo quietly dropped a trailer and information about a new entry in the series titled Paper Mario: The Origami King, slated for THIS COMING JULY!
Now that's more like it! Today during a Summer Game Fest showcase stream, Epic Games gave us a glimpse of their new Unreal Engine 5 and the PlayStation 5's power via a tech demo. If you recalled, we (along with many others in the industry) criticized Microsoft's unveiling of the first Xbox Series X gameplay for practically lacking any real meaningful look at 'Next Gen' gameplay and had hoped that Sony would show us more for the PS5. Epic Games seemingly beat both to the punch, and although their tech demo titled "Lumen in the Land of Nanite" is not gameplay from a real title (we think), it is the best look at Next-Gen gameplay yet.
After serving up burgers with a side of hijinks since originally airing on FOX in 2011, the Belchers are now officially coming back for an 11th season. FOX broke the news that their Emmy-winning animated series will indeed be back for their 2020 fall line up. This is welcome news for us fans after the much-anticipated movie was pushed back from its original July 17, 2020, date to April of next year.
Yikes! Since last week's announcement from Microsoft about their unveiling of first-ever Xbox Series X gameplay, the gaming world was thrown in a whirlwind of excitement and anticipation. With all the unfortunate hoopla of COVID-19 and its effects on our daily lives, 2020 being the year of the Next-Gen understandable got overshadowed. But, here comes Microsft at the right time to have us briefly forget about such terrors, and have us hyped for a much better end to the year than the beginning. Their Inside Xbox event just wrapped up, and....we saw a bit of next-gen, but, it was a bit underwhelming.
Say what you will about Mortal Kombat 11's gameplay, the stiff animation or the god awful 'Towers of Time', but the game does contain one of the best story modes ever found in a fighter (a NetheRealm staple at this point). Today, NetheRealm reveals a new MK11 expansion call Aftermath that brings with it more story, fighters (ROBO FREAKING COP!) and a host of other goodies. Don't just take my word for it, check out the new trailer that was also released today below:
