The Boondocks Reboot hit with a Delay

Now, if you were like me and was dreading at the thought of signing up for yet another online subscription service due to The Boondocks rebooting heading exclusively to HBO MAX? Then here's some bittersweet news for you as according to the official Boondocks Instagram page, the beloved animated series is now set to return in 2022.

Originally set for a fall 2021 release, we will now have to wait a little longer (and so does my HBO Max subscription) for the new "reimagined" episodes that would once again follow the adventures of Huey, Riley, and Robert "Granddad". 

With series creator Aaron McGruder back in control, I was beyond excited so, this delay is a bit of a bitter blow. However, despite being the new home of much great animated content, this delay allows me more time before I pull the trigger on that HBO subscription.
