The first season of HBO Max's Close Enough was a delight. With all of the charm and wit of The Regular Show without any of the PG restrictions, Close Enough has been a breath of fresh air since its debut last year. The only downside was the first season was too short and left me eager for more. Luckily, HBO finally revealed that season 2 is hitting the streaming service in 2 weeks.
February 25th to be exact...
From JG Quintel, creator of the Emmy Award-winning Regular Show comes Close Enough, a surreal animated comedy about a married couple, their five-year-old daughter, and their two divorced best friends/roommates all living together on the east side of Los Angeles. They’re navigating that transitional time in your 30s when life is about growing up, but not growing old. It’s about juggling work, kids, and pursuing your dreams while avoiding time-traveling snails, stripper clowns, and murderous mannequins. Their life may not be ideal but for now, it’s close enough.
In addition, HBO has also revealed that the show has been re-upped for a third season so, there will plenty more Close Enough coming to the streaming service in the near future.
