Scoob! Is The Latest Scooby-Doo Reboot

When we created our list for the best cartoons to watch for Halloween, we had the original 1969 Scooby-Doo fourth in our list. It is by far our favourite in the franchise. However, we are also quick to admit that from the many numerous iterations/reboots that followed, we have yet to come across one we haven't liked (Yep, even  A Pup Named Scooby-Doo). Thus, we have no problem welcoming the latest reboot, Scoob! with open arms. 

Scoob! is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated adventure comedy film featuring characters from the Scooby-Doo franchise. Animated by Reel FX for Warner Animation Group and is directed by Tony Cervone. It stars the voices of Frank Welker (who, as the title character, is the only member of the original cast to reprise his role), Zac Efron, Gina Rodriguez, Will Forte, and Amanda Seyfried as the Scooby gang, with Tracy Morgan, Ken Jeong, Kiersey Clemons, Mark Wahlberg and Jason Isaacs as other classic animated characters.

The most interesting nugget of information that was revealed along with Scoob! was the fact the film is actually the first entry in a Hanna-Barbera cinematic universe which is also planned to include The Flintstones, The Jetsons and Wacky Races. The DCU has proved that not all can pull off the ole 'Marvel connected world' approach but, it will be exciting to see all these animated classics brought back into the spotlight.
