When Adventure Time ended back in September, it also saw my 20-year love affair with Cartoon Network coming to an end. With Netflix continuing to push into original and awesome revival of old classic animated series, I strongly believed I had moved on. Apparently, I was wrong. Adult Swim's new show 'PRIMAL' piqued my curiosity and now, new adventure comedy Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart, definitely got my attention. The show was created by former OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes and Black Dynamite writer/storyboard artist Parker Simmons and centres around its title character, Sheriff Mao Mao, a daring cat who has high intentions for action and adventure. Mao Mao, Heroes of Pure Heart will debut Monday, July 1 at 6:10 p.m. and is actually one of two new shows Cartoon Network are preparing for their primetime slots. "Tig N’ Seek” is the other and 'follows an 8-year-old sleuth who solves mysteries throughout Wee Gee city with his gadget savvy partner Gweeseeks'. This one is expected to come out in 2020.
