Here's a much better look at Encanto

​I loved every minute of Coco and was more than happy with how Vivo turned out, so of course, I am readying my body for another Lin-Manuel joint. Yeah, I know, Encanto is more under the stewardship of the fine folks over at  Walt Disney Animation Studios, but Lin-Manuel is producing new music for the film, instantly making me hyped for its release in November. To make the wait even harder, we were treated to a brand new trailer:  

PLOT SYNOPSIS 
Walt Disney Animation Studios' upcoming feature film “Encanto” tells the tale of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family who live in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. Each child has been blessed with a magic gift unique to them—each child except Mirabel. But when the family’s home is threatened, Mirabel may be their only hope.

​There is no doubt that Encanto will draw a comparison to Coco, but it will be interesting to see just how well it fares as a musical in its own right. Looking at the trailers, it seems we will be blissfully singing along to its soundtrack throughout the Holidays.
