Unless you were on a media blackout this past year, you would notice that 3D Computer Generated animation is all the rage in Japan. From Dragon Quest to the absolutely stunning Lupin the First, we are seeing a possible art style revolution. Now, the popular Ghost in the Shell series is the latest to get a CG makeover and thanks to a new teaser trailer from Netflix Japan, we got our first taste at how it's looking. The full 3DCG series is co-directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series) and Shinji Aramaki (APPLESEED, Starship Troopers: Invasion). To be honest, I am not really digging the overall look of the world or Major herself just yet but, I am hoping it eventually grows on me. Ghost in The Shell SAC_2045 is set to be streamed on Netflix worldwide in Spring 2020. If you can't wait and craving more you can visit the new website here. -YOU MAY ALSO BE INTERESTED IN
