from meme to reality! minecraft's steve joins smash!

​The sheer popularity of the Super Smash Brothers series has conjured up some rather oddball meme character reveals throughout the years. From Goku to Wolverine, from Sora to Geno, we have seen it all, but Minecraft's Steve was the most memed character of them all down to how completely bonkers of an idea it is. Well, my fellow smashers...it is now a reality: 

Steve's abilities seemingly include the use of in-game crafting to create swords, pickaxes, blocks and other familiar elements from Minecraft. Also, we should mention the character comes with alternative character skins (ala Bowser Jr and the Koopallings) with Alex, Zombie and Enderman also joining in. The full breakdown of the fighter will air 9:30 local time this Saturday.  

I still can't believe it...STEVE IS IN SMASH! I don't know anything about Steve and Minecraft, but the game is one of the highest-grossing of all time, but I still can't believe what has happened. This is completely destroying our characters reveal prediction list, but does leave the door open for anyone joining next.
