Movies got the Academy Awards, Music got the Grammy's and Sports got the Espy but, when it came to the video games, the industry had to wait for its own grand ceremony where the crème de la crème was rightfully recognized. We predict that this year's Game of the Year Award will be a close battle between Control and Death Stranding with the latter controversially (Due to  Keighley and the game's director Kojima's very public friendship)  taking it in the end. If you don't care who wins whichever award, then the show is traditionally known for big reveals/announcements with at least 10 surprises promised.

All in all, this Year's Game Awards promises to be the best yet. The show kicks off at 8:30pm local time and you can watch it all live right here:
