We all jumped for joy when news broke that the Bleach anime series would be making a return next year. That same announcement got even sweeter with the news that Tite Kubo’s other manga Burn The Witch, would also be getting an anime adaptation this year. Today, we finally get word on exactly when the witch burning will begin. Crunchyroll Official Statement: Prepare to get bewitched in Reverse London with a three-episode movie from Bleach's Tite Kubo, because the streaming premiere of BURN THE WITCH is right around the corner! The anime will officially cast its spell upon us all on Crunchyroll starting October 1 at 5:00pm Pacific Time. Synopsis: Historically 72% of all the deaths in London are related to dragons, fantastical beings invisible to the majority of the people. While unknown to most, some people have been standing up to these dragons. Only inhabitants of Reverse London who live in the hidden “reverse” side of London can see the dragons. Even then, only a selected few become qualified enough as witches or wizards to make direct contact with them. The protagonists of the story are witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind (WB), an organization for dragon conservation and management. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons within London on behalf of the people. Being totally honest, I have yet to read the Burn The Witch one-shot manga so, this will be a fresh introduction to the lore. Based on impressions and these early trailers, it seems I am in for a good time, and at least, the perfect warm-up for the more Bleach next year. -YOU MAY ALSO BE INTERESTED IN:
