One of the best things that is currently apart of this generation of consoles is the increasing influence the indie scene and developers continue to have on the gaming landscape. Yes there are still some gamers out there be like 'eww indies are not a real game - dude where are the graphics?!' but not only are many indie games are simply beautiful to look at, but they also fill many holes in the industry that AAA developers overlook. Up step indie developers Chucklefish and their new game Wargroove to the rescue but was it successful at scratching that itch? Here what critics had to say about the game:
'There are meaningful improvements that make this both a satisfying answer to starved Advance Wars fans' wishes and a genuinely great experience on its own merits.'

"Advance Wars may only exist nowadays in our memories, but Wargroove stands as a worthy successor to the franchise; if Intelligent Systems does ever decide to revive its cult classic series, it’s going to have some stiff competition to contend with thanks to Chucklefish's efforts."
