The world ends with you is going anime

​Today has been a pretty eventful day for fans of the niche DS game 'The World Ends With You'. Not only is the 13 years old game getting a sequel next year, but an anime adaption is also on its way. I have never played the original nor, it's numerous ports, but I have had always heard great things about it. Namely, while the gameplay is fun, it is the story that will keep you glued to your screen. Now, this upcoming anime is perfect for people like me that want to check it out to see what all the fuss was about without booting up a game console. 

The anime adaptation was actually first revealed back in June of 2020, during this year's Anime Expo Lite by Funimation who are the ones in charge of bringing it to western shores. 

I am looking forward to checking it out and who knows, it might persuade me to check out the game series.
