The Outer Worlds Review Roundup

If you where one of the many fans that wished for more FALL OUT in FALL OUT 76, then Obsidian's THE OUTER WORLDS may be the answer to your prayers. Swapping the settings of a Post-apocalyptic America for the vivid unknown of outer space is a welcome change for these subgenres of first-person RPGs. Of course, if it's a buggy unplayable mess, it wont be a game for anyone. 'I finished The Outer Worlds wanting more, eager to jump back into the world to see extra things. It's not a short game, but it's one packed with such a steady stream of wonderful characters to meet, interesting places to explore, and meaningful, multi-layered quests to solve, that it didn't feel like there was any room to get tired of it.'

With a mid 80s metacritic score on all major consoles it seems that the folks over at Obsidian have successfully navigated the fine line between inspired and shameless copy. I personally can't wait to jump in to this epic space adventure. 

The Outer Worlds releases October 25, 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One (Switch version coming 2020).
