Spawn Takes On Scorpion in the Latest Mortal Kombat 11 DLC Trailer

I am going to be totally honest, my first introduction to the character Spawn came via the 1997 movie that starred Michael Jai White. Yeah, I know, not the greatest of intros to the world of Spawn but after his guest appearance on the Xbox version of Soul Calibur 2, I was all in. To learn more of the lore, I got a hand on a few comics and watched all 3 seasons of the animated series quickly pushing him up there among my favourite comic book characters. So you know, I was jazzed to find out he will be making his return to gaming as another guest fighter in Mortal Kombat 11. And based on his new reveal trailer, it was worth the wait. 

Spawn is the final DLC fighter of MK11's 'Kombat Pack'. The pack already brought the likes of Joker, the Terminator and Mortal Kombat returnees, Sindel, Shang Tsung and Nightwolf to the newest entry of the fame fighting series. But, Spawn has arrived with a unique fighting style that makes him like a blast to use. 

While the game may be waning in popularity among the Fighting Game Community and, even missed out at a spot at this year's Evolution, here's hoping the game sold well enough to encourage another DLC pack. For now, Spawn will do when he officially arrives  on March 17.
