Finally! The countdown to Next-Gen is over as we usher in the month of November. Apart from being the month of my birth, this November will be special as it will oversee a leap in gaming with the release of both the Xbox Series X and the PS5. And, despite Cyberpunk 2077 being delayed (YET AGAIN!!!), this month will have some excellent titles to make these new machines sing. Here are our picks for the best games releasing this month: ASSassin's Creed Valhalla (Nov. 10)At this point, there have been many, and I mean many, entries in the popular Assassin's Creed franchise. Each game took us on a virtual trip through time and space to some amazing locations in history. From Renaissance Rome to Victorian London to Ancient Egypt, each game felt as if you were stuck on the History Channel and you can't find the remote. Well, you can pack your bags again as Ubisoft has revealed a new game in the series titled Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and we are heading to the era of the Vikings via the power of Next-Gen. Xbox Series X/S (Nov. 10)Assassin Creed Valhalla will be day one launch game for Microsoft's next-gen consoles the Series X and S on November 10. Microsoft is prioritizing hardware performance, including support for higher display resolutions (up to 8K resolution) along with frame rates, real-time ray tracing, and use of high-speed solid-state drive to reduce loading times, on the Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series S uses the same CPU and reduced GPU, memory, and internal storage and lacks an optical drive. demon souls (nov. 12)From PlayStation Studios and Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon’s Souls. Entirely rebuilt from the ground up and masterfully enhanced, this remake introduces the horrors of a fog-laden, dark fantasy land to a whole new generation of gamers. Those who’ve faced its trials and tribulations before, can once again challenge the darkness in stunning visual quality with incredible performance. Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (Nov 12)With the release of a new game and two films over the past year, massive fans of our friendly neighbourhood spider must be had been in heaven. Then we got a PS5 showcase in the Summer and the loving can start anew once again as the latest adventure in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe comes to the PS5 this fall. This time, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man.
playstation 5 (nov. 12)You can't slay demons and save citezens as a masked hero all in 4k splender without a brand new Next-Gen console from Sony. In step the Playstation 5. The platform will launch in two varieties: a base model with an Ultra HD Blu-ray compatible optical disc drive, and a Digital Edition lacking this drive, serving as a lower-cost variant for consumers who prefer to buy games through digital download. The PlayStation 5 has a solid-state drive customized for high-speed data streaming to enable significant improvements in graphical performance. It has a custom AMD GPU capable of ray tracing, 4K resolution display at up to 120 frames per second, 3D audio effects, and backward compatibility with most PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR games. call of duty: black ops cold war (Nov. 13)Another year, another November so another Call of Duty is on the way. Cold War is the sixth installment of the Black Ops series, and the seventeenth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. Serving as the direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010), the game is planned for release on November 13, 2020. However, this will also be the first COD on next-gen hardware which might make it worth it to enlist for war once again. Hyrule Warriors: Age of CalamityLike Link taking on a 100 man army of mokoblins, Nintendo is taking on a difficult battle against Next-Gen this holiday with this lone major Switch exclusive title. Developed by Koei Techmo under the watchful eyes of Nintendo, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will allow players to learn more about Zelda, the four Champions - Mipha, Revali, Urbosa, and Daruk - the King of Hyrule, and more through "dramatic cutscenes as they try to save the kingdom from Calamity." And that's it! Next-Gen November is definitely shaping up to be one of the most memorable months in gaming. So much good stuff is coming out that we didn't have room for the likes of Yakuza, Godfall and Sackboy. It truly is a great time to be a gamer. -YOU MAY ALSO BE INTERESTED IN:
