Do you guys remember our post about Disney's The Proud Family coming back? You know the one where Oscar Proud himself (Tommy Davidson), gave a random interview and dropped the bombshell that the series was being revived for the upcoming Disney+ service? Well, after nearly seven months of Disney+ being in operation and no sight of the family, I was becoming a bit nervous that the potential rebirth was already canned. Leave it up to Disney to surprise us all at the 5th hour as they have officially confirmed that the series is back.
Unfortunately, the above tweet is all we are getting for the moment as there was no mention of release date or the number of episodes we can expect. However, we did get confirmation that the original cast will reprise their roles as well as, looking at BB and CC, the new season will be base sometime in the future. Oh, and how can I forget to mention the new title? The new show has been dubbed, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.
I am really...REALLY! excited about this, so I am once again leading the pleas to Disney for Disney+'s availability in Jamaica. The wait is officially getting harder and harder.
