Booo! Zelda: Breath of the wild 2 delayed

This year, Nintendo Switch only gamers had to endure watching their multiplatform counterparts enjoy the open-world goodness of games like Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West with great envy. That envy was somewhat eased with the knowledge that the sequel to one of the best Switch games was on its way to the platform this year. Well...until it wasn't: 

Eiji Aonuma announces in the video above, that the title will no longer make it out this year. Instead of its previous tentative 'Fall 2022' release date, we now have 'Spring 2023. 

Sad news indeed, but one we all saw coming given the release history of the series and the lack of new information about the game up to this point. It will be interesting to see what fill the void this year for Nintendo.
