Baki Is Back! Here's A New Trailer To Prove It

​Let us get this out of the way first. If you booted up your Netflix app, start episode one of Baki expecting an anime with the most mind-blowing plot of all time, prepare to be disappointed. But, prepare for the most entertaining and wildest ride of your life. Baki is downright bat sh*t crazy and dripping with a unique charm that is all its own. The series/manga (Better known as Baki the Grappler) predated Netflix of course, but it has re-surge in popularity with this modern version. So it is not surprising we are getting season 2 and today, we got our first look at it thanks to this new trailer:

Netflix describes the story:
The protagonist, Baki Hanma, trains with an intense focus to become strong enough to surpass his father, Yujiro Hanma, the strongest fighter in the world. Five of the world's most violent and brutal death row inmates are gathering to face Baki. Their objective is to taste defeat -- their unmatched strength and skill have led them to grow bored of life itself, and they now seek out Baki in the hopes that he can overwhelm and utterly crush them. In this crisis, other underground martial art warriors gather to fight by Baki's side: Kaoru Hanayama, Gouki Shibukawa, Retsu Kaioh, and Doppo Orochi. An epic showdown between violent death row inmates and Baki and his friends begins!

The anime's second season will be based on the "Great Chinese Challenge" arc that covers chapters 159-240 in the manga. Also, the full voice cast is returning for this new season.

I really enjoyed the first season of Baki on Netflix and was eagerly awaiting season 2 so this trailer is making to wait much harder.
