One of my favourite things about anime is its unique ability to take what many would consider mundane and transform it into a must-watch event. Take Death Note for instance...who knew 'book writing' could be so tense and engaging. The same could be said of sports anime series where along with a great plot, they even have the power to create new real-life sports fans. For example, I wanted to know everything about the world of tennis after my time watching The Prince of Tennis. In futuristic boxing anime, Megalobox, things are a bit different due to the characters being the star of the show as opposed to the sport. Throughout all 13 episodes, we witness the struggles and growth of each character, and in my opinion, came to a satisfying end by the time the credits for the final episode began to roll. I believed the story was finished but, I am happy to find out how wrong I was, as Megalobox 2 was recently announced to be in development.

When Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was finally revealed at this year's E3, I was less than impressed. The gameplay looked very safe and routine hardly looking like a step up to the previous gen's Star Wars The Force Unleashed. But, you know what? Mamma always said 'never judge a book by its cover'. So with the game now out in the wild, we take a look at the review roundup:
With it being firmly placed on our most anticipated animated films of 2019 list earlier this year, it's clear that we have high hopes for FROZEN 2. A hype that further intensified after the release of the film's first trailer. The first FROZEN wasn't the house of mouse best ever but, we got a wonderful enchanted world with great characters and great comedy/action. So, can Disney pull it off again? Or should we all just forget the hype and let it go? Here's the review roundup:
The new Spongebob Movie has Keanu Reeves starring as Tumbleweed 1...and that's it! That's the movie! We don't need to see anything else...but in all seriousness, fresh out of the water from announcing their new multi-deal partnership with Netflix, Nickelodeon is preparing to release their third SpongeBob movie, Sponge on the Run, for 2020 and gave us our first look at it via a new trailer.
If you have been anywhere on the internet this past week, you would have had a hard time avoiding any news about Disney+ this Disney+ that. Many wondered how would the granddaddy of online streaming services would react, and today, they got their answer as Netflix announced a new multi-year partnership with Nickelodeon.
It feels like we have been covering Pokemon Sword & Shield since forever but, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel as we are only a few days from catching them all. The lead up to release day had been interesting, to say the least, with it being marred by fan protest and questionable marketing but, at the end of the day, we finally get a true console Pokemon game. So, does Pokemon Sword & Shield reinvent the series? Or is it more of the same in HD? Here's the review roundup:
