If you were a gamer that saw the upcoming Q1 game release dates and was worrying how you would be able to afford them all? Then I got some good news for you. This morning the insanely packed first quarter got a little lighter has both Marvel's Avengers and Final Fantasy 7 Remake have been delayed.
The much-hyped video game take on the Avengers was initially scheduled for a May 15 release but will now make its way to gamers on September 4. The developers of the game, Crystal Dynamics, made the announcement this morning citing that they will need additional development time for "fine tuning and polishing".

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake's delay was a much smaller on the other hand, as the game is moving from it's original March 3 date to April 10.
Delays are essential makeup of the very fabric of the gaming industry today but, it doesn't lessen the impact of such a massive blow to the hype. Marvel's Avengers gameplay revealed came at the perfect time after the release of Avengers: End Game with Square Enix (the game publishers) hoping to ride the hype train all the way to May. As for FF7 Remake, the wait was already unbearable for many gamers, so news of any delays, regardless of length, was always destined to receive a negative reaction. *Drops obligatory Shigeru Miyamoto quote about delayed games here*
