Awww...Thanksgiving. A time for food, family and, who are we kidding? All those mushy things are fine and dandy but for most of us (especially those of us in the Caribbean), this time of year is all about the nuclear bomb of capitalism which we all come to know and love as Black Friday. This annual celebration of price drops is especially special for the cheap gamer as this is usually there time to snag a brand new console. And who can blame them? Gaming is expensive, significantly more so here in Jamaica, so we have decided to do our part to be on Santa's 'nice list' and provide links to what we believe are the best Black Friday deals for the cheap gamer. So whether you are a 'Nintendo fanboy', 'Xbot' or 'Sony drone' here's what we could find: amazon's 1tb ps4 slim only on ps4 bundle (price $199)Straight off the bat, we found this amazing PlayStation 4 bundle on Amazon. Sure it may not be the much beefier PS4 Pro console but, this bundle provides a cheap entry into Sony's current-gen with three 'Game Of The Year' games included. Also, with the PS5 on the way, this bundle is perfect for those gamers who want to catch up on all the PS4 exclusives they have missed out on over the years. Click here if you want to buy it now and hurry, these suckers are going fast! amazon's xbox one s 1tb all digital edition (Price $149)If you are more into the Microsoft side of gaming and you weep at the sight of the Xbox One X's $499 price, then we may have found the solution for you. For this Black Friday, Amazon is offering this shockingly low entry fee for the Xbox party. At only $149Usd, this is by far the cheapest way of finally joining current-gen gaming with the only drawback being you would need to download all your games to play them. But, if you got a decent enough internet package, then you will be just fine. walmart's Nintendo Switch Lite Console with Bonus case (price $199.96)If you are a cheap Nintendo Gamer, this Black Friday can be a bit tricky. Nintendo's little hybrid console is only in its third year of existence and has been selling like gangbusters, so any massive price drop was always going to be unlikely. Thankfully, Nintendo decided earlier this year to provide a lowered price entry point (down from the standard $300usd) by producing a cheaper SKU in the form of the Switch Lite at $200usd. The Drawback here? The Lite is a Switch that doesn't switch and is primarily designed for handheld gamers. If you are cool with that, then you can turn your attention to those Black Friday deals with the best bundles. And, with the Pokemon Sword & Shield Switch Lite Bundle already sold out (it was gone in mere minutes), this Switch Lite with Red Case bundle is the next best. Click here if you want to buy it now and hurry, these are low in stock! That's it, that's all we found. We must note that we are 5 days away from Black Friday so there is a chance that new Black Fridays deal may arise. Also, for those living in the United States, the brand spanking new Google Stadia is a cheaper option that is available. Happy Shopping Gamers. -YOU MAY ALSO BE INTERESTED IN
