Start 2021 off watching a new batman movie

If there's one thing we know about WB Animations is that they sure love themselves some batman. With it only being a short few weeks since the release of Batman: Death in the Family, WB Animations via another exclusive IGN reveal, are ready to display there latest animated bat adventures titled Batman: Soul of a Dragon. 

Set to be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital starting January 12, 2021, and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray on January 26, 2021, the film will also feature a talented cast such as: David Giuntoli (Grimm) as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Mark Dacascos (John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, Brotherhood of the Wolf) as Richard Dragon, Kelly Hu (Arrow, X2: X-Men United) as Lady Shiva, and Michael Jai White (Spawn, The Dark Knight) as Ben Turner/Bronze Tiger. 

This official synopsis sheds some additional light on the film's plot:

"Set in the midst of the swinging 1970s, this Elseworlds adventure finds Bruce Wayne training under a master sensei. It is here that Bruce, along with other elite students, is forged in the fire of the martial arts discipline. The lifelong bonds they form will be put to the test when a deadly menace arises from their past. It will take the combined efforts of Batman, world-renowned martial artists Richard Dragon, Ben Turner, and Lady Shiva and their mentor O-Sensei to battle the monsters of this world and beyond!"

Personally, I wasn't two impressed with WB Animations' last 2 movies, but looking at this trailer, I can safely say...I am digging the vibe of this new entry.  

Batman: Death in the Family was released last month

Batman: Soul of the Dragon will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital starting January 12, 2021, and on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack and Blu-ray on January 26, 2021.
