With E3 2022 confirmed dead (R.I.P E3), many gamers figured and prayed that we would still get our annual Summer megaton announcements from the industry's major publishers. All it took was a plucky Geoff Keighley and the power of streaming to give birth to Summer Game Fest, a new-ish all digital gaming event to rise from E3's ashes and take its place upon the iron throne. Over the next few weeks, expect to hear from all of gaming's big wigs (hopefully that includes Nintendo), with Sony surprisingly being first out of the gate. Their Summer State of Play just wrapped, and here are the 5 things that we loved about it:
