After a slight delay from its promised release yesterday, the Blender 2.80 Release Candidate is now online. This release candidate is seen as "the final step before the release. Blender has been built and packaged just like the official release, and is available for a short period of testing. Please download it and give it a good try. If things go as expected, the final release will be one week after."

The Lupin the Third series is legendary among anime fans worldwide since its debut way back in 1971. Since then we had been treated to the many funny hijinks of Lupin, Jigen, Goemon and the mischievous Fujiko as they constantly escape capture from Inspector Koichi Zenigata. Now, perhaps to signal the series' effort to keep up with the times, TOHO animation revealed a trailer on Thursday for the franchise's first 3D CG feature-length film...AND IT LOOKS GORGEOUS!
Blender version 2.80 has been in beta in what seems like forever, but finally, finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Today on their official twitter page, the Blender devs announced that the Blender 2.80 candidate will be out tomorrow.

Continuing on their master plan to replace all of our sweet childhood memories with gritty realism, Disney revealed to the world the first trailer for their live-action remake of Mulan. Despite the cinematography looking amazing and, the acting seems to be on point, we can't help but notice that a small red Eddie Murphy voiced dragon is nowhere to be seen.
This past weekend prominent online anime streaming service Crunchy Roll debut its new anime series Dr. Stone. Based on the manga written by Riichiro Inagaki, the plot centres around title character Senku, A boy of science with almost superhuman intellect, knowledge, and an insatiable curiosity.
